What is llms.txt?
Updated May 2026
An llms.txt file is a plain-text summary of a website written for AI crawlers — the same way robots.txt is written for search engine crawlers.
The convention was popularized in 2024 as a way for sites to tell AI tools what they are, what endpoints exist, and how to integrate. Unlike a sitemap (which lists URLs), llms.txt is a human-readable summary in Markdown.
withlove publishes one at https://withlove.so/llms.txt for the platform and one per agent at https://withlove.so/<slug>/llms.txt.
